My project from trimester 2 –> Google maps api integration for our national parks page

  • Built an interactive web app showcasing four major national parks

  • Integrated Google Maps API for detailed views, markers, and park info

  • Enabled users to share posts, tips, and photos about their park experiences

  • Added park rating features to support community feedback

  • Combined geolocation tech with social features to engage outdoor enthusiasts

This project made me qualified to win a paid Pilot city internship which is why I selected this as my favorite project.

My Unique Qualities

  • Led the design of the front-end interface, focusing on visual appeal and user-friendly navigation

  • Proposed the core idea of extracting and analyzing data from Legoland’s social media, which became the central focus of the project

  • Contributed to a collaborative and cohesive team environment, supporting effective communication and smooth development throughout the project
